The Howard Doris yard at Kishorn, on the west coast of Scotland built some amazing structures. The Ninian Central was the largest manmade object ever moved when it was floated out, and the Maureen was a unique design, with the base and deck mated in Loch Kishorn before being moved to the North Sea.
