2 thrusters pulled for maintenance onto barge Invergordon, look at the carm state of the water

This picture shows the Khensu which was owned and operated by Caledonian Towage. Her Jib collapsed during an insurance inspection and load test at the Invergordon supply base - on deck are 2 thrusters from a Sedco 700 series Rig.

I remeber the Khensu too, similar conditions as above when changing Thruster Blades from the 700 in July/August 1991 on her. The 700 & 701 were both in there for upgrades that year & remember it being a long good summer, from the derrick we saw some of the Tallships come up through the firth making their way to Aberdeen which hosted the event that year.

Cracking picture, a lot of memories, spent a couple of weeks recovering it from the seabed after the collapse of the crane.
