the original name on this one is Haakon Magnus. built at Aker Nyland shipyard in Oslo, Norway. This was in 1973. It went to India for drilling down there in the 70s. Many of my friends was there. Dolphin drilling was drilling contractor and I think even today they still are.

Was on this rig in the North Sea. It was used as an accomodation rig alongside Beryl Alpha about 1979. I worked with Balfour Kilpatrick.
