Really Like this photo of the Buzzard - with the flare going, I have some photos of the Construction & Hookup of this Platform that I will look and post on the Website.

I was on the commissioning phase of the Prod module in Cadiz and on the Comm/Hook Up offshore, from Sept 2005 until Jan 2007. Have some good pics which I will post on the site.

The Jackup alongside is the Galaxy 3, has been there for a few years now, has just recently returned after shipyard work ..but ..this time to the opposite side of the Buzzard. With the recent merger the Jackup is now the Transocean Galaxy 3..no more GSF.

I was the principal project control engineer for CB&I John Brown who were the design house that designed all three platforms, and I did the design programme for the CDPS phase and the detail programming for the Wellhead, EHS and Structural phases. Its really nice to see the plant up and running and it seems like a lifetime since I worked on the project in Paddington, London.

My dad actually worked on this rig and helped build it - we got to have a look around before it left Hartlepool - fantastic rig like!
