I was on the Labrador just before this. I remember that extra accommodation was installed. This added an extra 300 tons to the rig. The result of this was that the the rig was substantially down by the bow. The answer to this was to take on extra ballast. Now the rig was floating, so that ther plimsoll line was 6 inches under water. The answer to this, was a suggestion, to repaint the plimsoll line 6 inches higher up. Can't say it was acted upon, but I think it was.
