I'm just wondering, was this photo taken at the top of the pump house. or another rig?

Added by Tim Anderson on 31 October 2009.
Yes from on top of the pump house roof. It's easily accessible with ladders all the way up.

Amazing, I used to work on her when she was the Haakon Magnus and located on Bombay High.
I was with BJ Services as a cement tester and later became the onshore materials man with Viking Offshore and after the contract with ONGC expired in March 1978 sailed on her and got off (on the ocean) about 12 hours tug boat ride from Gibralter. That was the last I saw of her until today.

Is that the same Andy Bain that is manager for the Borgsten? Used to work with George Cheyne?

Added by Scott Cheyne on 21 August 2010.
Sorry I'm a different Andy Bain.
