The Treasure Hunter was my first venture offshore in Decemebr 1978. I was a crane operator for Greenhams who owned the two cranes onboard at that time. Just off the chopper and the waves were hitting the legs and coming up through the gratings! I was nearly trying to get back on the chopper but fortunately my colleagues persuaded me that it wasn't sinking and I was safe enough! Happy days.....great guys to work with - Brown and Root/Wimpey JV, and most of the deck crew on the Hunter were from Barra.
