Taken by my father in the late 70's as the Cormorant was nearing completion.

Don't know what the flotel is.

The Semi Sub is the Treasure Finder a vessel used as offshore base for the SAR and offshore Doctor intorduced in 1985 See Treasure finder good pictures to view

Apologies for my last comment this was not the Treasure Finder but the Treasure Hunter which had the hanger but only one helideck. Since the Finder did not come out until the Corm. A. had gone into production a bad identification from me.

Worked on the platform as a chemist for a few months, The lab was in a right funny old place up ladders above the stores.

The flotel was the Treasure Finder - I was there on the hook-up. Half an hour for lunch and it took 20 minutes to queue up - Fun!

The first flotel was Treasure Hunter. Treasure Finder went onto be Brent Log controling all the flight movements in the Brent area. Cormorant A had about 6 different floatels during hook-up days.

I was on the hook up for oceanic as a spark I think the semi sub is the vildkat.
